Large Victorian Mahogany Chest of Drawers, Scotch Chest

The chest is Very Heavy Quality it has well figured Flame Mahogany Veneers and cross banding, there are solid mahogany pillars on either side and it has an attractively shaped top.

The Chest has a great combination of drawers, along the top a secret drawer, over a Top hat drawer flanked by a double deep short drawer on the right and a pair of short drawers on the left, all of these over 3 long graduated drawers

The chest stands on turned feet, it has the original turned wooden handles, locks and escutcheons

The overall condition of the chest is good, with only minor chipping of the veneers it has a good finish and it is a eye-catching piece

The chest measures 52" high 50" wide and 24" deep
