Welsh Georgian Oak Low Dresser with Potboard, C.1780

Description

A very rare Welsh oak potboard dresser, with a raised plate rack ending in shaped feet, to the rear of top, over a base with three drawers and a magnificent fretwork frieze and beautifully-shaped sides, above a two-plank potboard, united by turned legs and terminating in stile feet.

(Possibly replaced centre leg).

Excellent colour and surface patination.
