Georgian Flame Mahogany Bowfronted Chest of Drawers

Description

This georgian bow fronted chest of drawers is veneered in the most gorgeous lively flame mahogany available for the period , the classic combination of two short over three long drawers on splayed bracket feet with cock beaded drawers, period style replacement handles and even the original blue lining paper give this chest the edge in our opinion .

The condition is now ready for immediate delivery having been sympathetically repolished to a high standard but still allowing you to see the old age and usage marks beneath the mirrored flame finish.

Difficult to describe accurately but its as nice as they come .

In brief summary if you want a ready to use antique bowfront chest from the georgian period with almost 200 years of use but still retaining original features and as solid as they come , then you have just found it.

The flame colour is gorgeous !!
