Here we have a stunning George III Mahogany chest on chest c1780. As you can see the chest has super colour and patina. This chest has beautiful decorative appeal without being over the top. The pediment has super moulding with dental moulding beneath. The corners are cantered and this is replicated down the sides with reeded decoration. There are wonderful period plate handles on carefully chosen drawer fronts which have the most wonderful grain and colour. The chest has solid Mahogany sides and drawer fonts with Oak linings to the drawers including bases. A very high quality chest on chest which looks fantastic and is in super retail condition. The proportions of this chest are also perfect being just 72 inches high 45 at the widest point (pediment) and 22 inches deep.
