Solid mahogany top and sides with no large cracks or splits. Reeded edging to the top and foot skirt. Shaped bracket feet. Original iron locks. The chest has had a sucession of handles to the drawers throughout the years. The current handles are extremely high quality antiqued copies of the original Georgian oval plates which have restored the piece back as close to its original look as possible.
This smart practical chest would comfortably fit into a hall,drawingroom or bedroom.
