Small Victorian Satin Birch Chest of Drawers

Description

This beautiful little Victorian chest is just delightful! it was made some 150 years ago and literally is 'as was made ' even to the point of having the original blue paper drawer linings.

The drawers run smoothly , shut tightly without having to push or pull too hard. There is no woodworm and no signs of there ever having been any. No splits or cracks. It is almost as though it has been kept under wraps since day one - apart from my Cabinet Maker giving it a light polish. The colour is stunning showing off the beauty of the satin birch .

This is a real 'little gem' .
