Here we have a beautiful stepped chest of drawers or adapted jewelry box c1750. As you can see this chest has wonderful colour and patina. The chest is made from Walnut with Box wood stringing to the drawer edges. The drawers are lined with solid Oak with bases running from front to back. The drawer fronts are concave and ooze quality. There are gilded knobs to the drawers and a later galleried top rail all sitting on bun feet. A very striking piece which would grace any chest or dressing table. The chest is in lovely retail condition and ready for your home. Dimensions are approx 15 inches wide 9 high and 11 deep.
