Exceptionally rare 17th century oak miniature chest of draws of superb colour and patina. handles replaced some time ago are correct for the period and have developed a lovely patina that flows with the piece. The chest has been constructed from reclaimed timber when it was made in around 1690, probably from beams of a ship or large house.
The piece has defiantly not been altered in size or in any other way. with only minor repairs to front mouldings and one draw bottom board replaced.
