Solid Walnut Collectors or Specimen Chest

1900 - 1920
Description

A very good quality solid walnut collectors chest comprising of 8 equal sized drawers with matching brass central drop handles , the chest sits on its original plinth base with the later addition of casters and draw runners to make it a much more useable piece , the drawers now glide open and closed, and with the weight of this chest the casters enable it to move freely even when its full.

It has been designed to either sit against a wall or sit central in a room because it is polished and finished on all four sides including the overhang of the solid walnut top.

Condition is ready to use , you may want to re line the drawers in a baize of your colour choice.
