A Small 19thc Mahogany Chest

Description

A 19thc mahogany chest of small proportions. This chest has been extensively altered probably from a commode chest. It is of good small proportions (29 inches wide) and is thus perfect as a bedside chest or lamp table. The top is veneered in sections with thick veneer and has a thumb nail moulding to the edge. The 4 slim drawers are oak lined but not dovetailed. The drawer puls are brass plates with swan necks and appear period.

73 cms wide by 42 deep by 69 cms high.
