Teak Two Part Military Chest

19th century
Description

Circa 1870, teak two part brass bound military chest, with makers label in top right hand drawer ‘Army and Navy CSL, Makers’. The chest has brass shaped quarter blocks on the top, brass strapping on the fore edge and between all the drawers. There are 2 short drawers over 1 deep drawer, and 2 various sized drawers below, with flush handles. Standing on 4 bulbous bun feet. Of typical style for a chest of this period. Excellent condition and good colour.

Size 102cm high x 91cm wide x 45.5cm deep.

Most items include delivery anywhere in the UK mainland.
