An Original Photograph of World War 1 Uniformed British Officer

Description

An early 20thc large original photograph of a uniformed British Cavalry Officer, probably from World War 1.

He wears a peaked cap & amunition bandolier and wears boots & spurs which would suggest he is from the Cavalry or Royal Horse Artillery.

The photograph is mounted in its' original oak frame with a gilt mount.

This is unusual as this is a British Officer, but the photograph was taken in a German Photographic studio in Bonn, Germany.

The piece is stamped with 'O Kneip, Bonn' & on the reverse has details of the studio.
