Chest of Drawers George III Mahogany Bachelors Chest C1790 Small Size

Here we have a beautiful George III Mahogany bachelors chest. The chest has beautiful colour and carefully selected flame veneers. The chest formerly split has its original brass plate handles which are superb quality. The top has a cross banded edge with an internal chequered string and a plain box wood string to the edge. The drawers also have box wood stringing to the edge. The drawers as you would expect have hand cut dovetail joints and are Oak lined including bases. There is the original brushing slide again made from Oak and with the original brass pulls. The chest is an excellent size being 36 inches wide 36 high and 18 deep. a super quality chest in super condition ready for your home.
