The watch has a stem-winding movement which is working nicely. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover which is signed, ‘R Rivière horloger Grenoble’. Rivière would have purchased the ebauche, or blank movement, from Chrono Coq.

The watch measures 51mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the handsomely shaped loop. The case is 800 silver and it is decorated to commemorate the 1911 Grenoble 11th Annual French Shooting Festival, XIme Fête Annuelle de Tir. To mark this massive national event, special commemorative pocket watches were commissioned.

The back of watch features an embossed design depicting a marksman or shooter alongside the festival's official text, ‘XIme Fete Anneuelle De Tir, Grenoble 1911’.
The acrylic lens is in super condition.
The dial is signed Chrono Coq and it has the French cockerel emblem. The dial is also in beautiful condition.
The watch comes in a new presentation box.
