Strickland & Russell has dated this Antique Steel Engraving Print to the 19th Century.
The print is engraved after Raphael's celebrated Renaissance masterpiece in the Dresden Gallery and bears printed credits reading Painted by Raphael, Engraved by William Say, together with Published by the Universal Fine Art Association. William Say was one of Britain's leading line engravers and held the appointment of Engraver to H.R.H. the Duke of Gloucester.
It would make an attractive decorative piece once conservation mounted and framed.

Condition: Fair antique condition overall. There is age-related toning, scattered foxing, creasing, edge tears, handling wear and losses to the margins, all consistent with age. The engraved image itself remains clean and displays well. Please study the photographs carefully as they form part of the description.
