Carltonware Arts and Crafts Claret Jug C1900

Description

A rare unusual claret jug by wiltshaw & robinson trading as carltonware in stoke on trent, england.

It has a hand finished floral design to the body with gilded highlights and a silver plated lid and handle. The base of the handle features a heart. The blue backstamp with crown and swallow dates between 1894 and 1926. It has an engraved gothic 'k' on the lid. In good, original condition measuring 8 ins tall (9 ins to the top of the handle).
