Large Arts and Crafts Sideboard by Shapland and Petter

This piece is being offered from a dispersal sale of Arts and Crafts mainly Liberty and Scottish School pieces which will be listed in the following days

This is a substantial piece made in oak the dresser top has the original bevelled edged mirror, and a bow shaped front to the counter, above there is a cupboard with 2 amber glazed bottle glass cupboard doors. The base section has two drawers with very attractive copper handles, a central “Dog Kennel” open cupboard and on either side a shelved cupboard with carved floral decoration to the door, The locks are present and working, and stamped S&PB. In excellent original condition, no damage or repairs.

The dresser is 73” high, 72” wide and 24” from the back to the front
