French Bleached Oak Commode with Carved Flowers

Description

A handsome French oak commode from the turn of the 19th century, this has the light bleached colour which complements a modern interior. It will make a great storage piece for any home.

- 4 drawers.

- Carved drawer fronts, with flowers, leaves and wreathes around the escutcheons.

- Panelled sides.

- Hoof front feet.

- Brass drawer furniture.

- The bleaching process has left attractive gradations of colour on the front.

- Stripped back feel to the bleached wood.

In good condition showing wear consistent with age and use. There are characterful signs of historical woodworm.
