Antique 20th century narrow chest of drawers in mahogany, a beautifully proportioned piece that makes the most of its slim footprint.

Well made and of good quality, it offers an impressive amount of storage without requiring much floor space, making it ideal for a bedroom, dressing room, hallway or reception room. Standing on bracket feet, the chest features a remarkable seven drawers arranged in a single vertical column. Each drawer is fitted with decorative brass handles, providing practical storage for clothing, accessories or smaller household items. Two ebonised pillars frame the front corners, adding contrast and a smart architectural detail to the warm mahogany. The wood has a rich colour with gorgeous natural grain throughout, enhancing the character and quality of the piece. Presented in good condition, this highly desirable narrow chest is a useful and distinctive antique, combining generous drawer space with elegant traditional styling.
