Description

An early 19thc Staffordshire porcelain flow blue jug and bowl decorated all over with a seaweed or coral pattern c1840. The restrained dimensions suggest this was a young lady’s wash bowl and jug, probably for travelling. The blue colours vary from dark to light blue and unusually cover the bases. The condition is excellent, a remarkable survivor with no damage and very charming.
