The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this Octava 8 Day Pocket Watch to the 1920s.
The watch has a stem-winding movement which is working nicely. The movement carries various patents in the name of Frantisek Hartmann and Josef Oliàk of Prague.
The remaining two patents on the movement are American and German, and also relate to the Octava name. The movement is protected by an inner cover which has minor scratching.

The watch measures 50mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is nickel and it is in beautiful condition.
The glass lens is in good condition with just light marking, nothing serious at all… some white reflection showing in the photos.

The dial is in lovely condition with original blued steel hands.
The watch comes with a single chain, 32cm long including the clasps. The chain is more golden in colour but it came to us with the pocket watch.
The watch and chain come in a new presentation box.
