Highly decorative early C20th carved stone and lead-mounted Medusa head wall-bracket.

Interesting weathered Medusa head sculpture, the carved stone mount with mask and face of the mythological Gorgon with snakes .

Has been exposed to the elements in a loggia setting and has acquired a distinctive weathered patina to both the stone and the metal. The verso mounted with a steel hanging hook .

A striking sculpture of the mythological snake-headed Medusa , with strong visual presence and impact . In Greek mythology, Medusa was one of the three hideous Gorgon sisters , whose gaze could turn people into stone .
