Fine George III Period Mahogony Chest of Drawers (c. 1780–1800)

An exceptional example of late 18th-century craftsmanship, this George III period chest of drawers is constructed from beautifully figured Mahogony, known for its rich grain and superb depth of colour. The piece remains in remarkable showroom condition, retaining all of its original features, a rarity for furniture of this age.

Comprising two short over three full-length graduated drawers, the chest is fitted with its original solid brass swan-neck handles and matching escutcheons.
