A George III Mahogany Canterbury

£875    $1,185    €1,031
A George III mahogany Canterbury, of rectangular form with three divisions with plain concave crossbars and uprights, over a fitted drawer with a fine incised line to the edge, and a single brass lion’s mask pull handle, on turned reeded tapering supports raised on brass castors. English circa 1790.

Condition: Overall very good, the piece is in very good condition, it stands well and is solid and robust. It has had a couple of old repairs as is fairly typical with these, however it has not been badly damaged. The drawer runs smoothly and the brass handle and the castors are the originals.
