Georgian Oak Chest of Drawers

A beautifully plain and simple George III oak chest of drawers c1800, with an arrangement of two drawers over three full width drawers. There is a subtle cockbead detail to the drawer fronts and the only other decoration comes from the shaped bracket feet. The simplicity of this antique chest of drawers means it would suit a variety of interior styles.

A very nice chest of drawers made from well figured oak. It is fairly generous in size so a practical addition to any room.

Condition: Very good original condition throughout with general marks and surface wear in accordance with age. There are a few small losses to the cockbead. The drawers all run smoothly and retain their original brass handles. A good solid piece of furniture.
