Regency Mahogany Bow Front Chest of Drawers

19th century
Description

A good quality mahogany chest of drawers dating from the early 19th Century. It has an attractive bow front and it stands on sweeping bracket feet. The drawers have brass plate handles which, although aren't original, suit the piece well. There is ample storage with two short over three long drawers.

It is in good condition for its age with a lovely rich colour and patina. The drawers open smoothly and are generally clean and tidy inside. There are some minor old marks and knocks and a couple of old repairs but nothing detrimental or untoward and it displays beautifully.
