A Georgian period, full hunter fusee verge pocket watch. A high quality 14k gold case with fine engine turned engraving. An enamel dial with brass hands. A superbly detailed verge fusee mechanism with gilt plates and a pierced back cock. A diamond end stone and signed ''JOHN JOHNSON LIVERPOOL'' and numbered 9915. A key wind mechanism. Case makers mark initial JPC.
 
John and Joseph Johnson of Liverpool is recorded as working from 1814-1851. This example dates to circa 1825.
