Collinge Antiques has dated this piece to the 1930s.
Decorative front featuring squares of highly figured burr elm veneer laid in a symmetrical pattern across the doors, with stylised Art Deco carving and original white metal handles and hinges. Walnut veneered inner face on the doors and on the cabinet ends. Stepped edge around the base (mirroring the top) and raised on the original bun feet with unusual fluted collars. Some old surface wear, generally very good condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
