Bushells Antiques has dated this Sevres Porcelain Demitasse Set to the 19th Century.
The upper and lower rims are decorated with a continuous gilded ivy-leaf and vine frieze.The underside of each cup contains three distinct factory marks: a blue "SV 46" stamp indicating the Sèvres factory and production year 1846, a green crowned Louis-Philippe monogram, and a red circular "Château des Tuileries" inventory stamp. Each cup measures approximately 6.5 cm in height and features a gilded handle. The interior of the cups is finished in plain white glaze with a gilded inner rim. The set displays characteristic Victorian-era French royal service design.
