Description

This charming pair of old mezzotints published by Robert Sayer each measure 13"x 10". "Harry and Emma" and "Edward and Eliza" have lovely original hand colour and are in nice old frames with verre eglomise glass mounts. They were published May 1 1787 by Robert Sayer, 53, Fleet Street and including the frame each measures 20"x 15".

Below each is a verse: "Sleep on, Sleep on my Henry Dear..." and "And While thy bosom heaves on his...."
