Brief Description:

This is a very fine, original early 19th-century Regency period Oil Portrait Painting depicting a handsome, distinguished gentleman.

Circa 1820-1830, and presented in beautiful condition, being mounted within a quality (later) gilt and gesso moulded frame.

As one can see from the images, it is a phenomenally painted work that would have been executed by one of the great artists of that time.

Both the painting and the frame are offered in an overall exceptional condition commensurate with age.
