Ornately Carved French Oak Chest of Drawers

1900 - 1920
Description

This lovely French oak chest is offered in very good condition.

The chest has a panelled solid oak top with swept edges, it has solid oak panelled sides and stands on carved escargot feet.

The chest has lovely intricate carving to the drawers and retains its original brass handles.

There was a very small shrinkage to the centre of the top which has been glued and sympathetically filled. Please see attached photos.
