Gents Zenith 220s Wrist Watch, 1964

Description

Gents Zenith 220S wrist watch, 1964

The watch has a 19-jewel hand-winding movement, calibre 2531, which is working nicely. The movement is fully signed and it has the serial number 5,726,159 which dates it back to 1964.

The watch measures 34mm diameter excluding the later winding crown and the lugs. The case is stainless steel and it is in good condition, just some light scratching to the back where a tool has slipped in the past. The inside of the case back is signed Zenith. The back of the watch states that the watch is waterproof but, as with any vintage watch, it should be kept away from water and moisture.

The lens is in lovely condition.

The signed dial is in its original finish with original hands, subsidiary seconds dial and outer minute markers.

A new leather strap has been fitted.

The watch comes in a new presentation box.

We are an on-line only business and do not have facilities for callers. Our offices are open from Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.

With regards to appraisals / valuations, we receive a huge number of information requests each day and unfortunately do not have the manpower to deal with them all individually. Our advice would be to contact a local auctioneer for a full appraisal.
