Regency Mahogany Bow Front Chest of Drawers

19th century
Description

A beautiful mahogany chest of drawers dating from the early 19th Century. It is excellent quality and very well made with a lovely patina and an attractive bowed front. The oak lined drawers have their original turned knobs and the chest stands on bracket feet with a shaped apron.

It is in good condition for its age and it has a lovely colour and grain. The drawers open smoothly and are generally clean and tidy inside. There are of course some signs of wear and use, some minor marks and knocks and there have been some repairs to chips in the veneer around the drawers but overall it displays well. The chest has been cleaned and gently polished and is ready for use.
