A refined Regency Worcester porcelain coffee cup and saucer from the Flight, Barr & Barr era.

Decorated in the celebrated Dragon in Compartments design, the composition alternates an oriental dragon with ornamental reserves of precious objects and floral motifs, all framed by richly gilded lobed panels. The vibrant famille-verte enamels combined with delicate gilding reflect the highest decorative standard of early 19th-century Worcester porcelain.

Derived from Chinese Kangxi models and long admired by collectors, this pattern represents one of Worcester’s most enduring chinoiserie schemes. Its presence within the historic Flight Collection confirms its importance within Regency porcelain production.
