19th century swedish birch chest of drawers circa 1870.

We are pleased to offer this chest of drawers, which showcases stunning timbers and that rich golden colour birch should be of this period.

Rectangular top with rounded front corners and moulded edge. fitted with 3 drawers of near equal proportions, each opening on the key. typical with swedish furniture of this period that there are no handles fitted. working locks and key. veneered in a tiger birch to the front and sides which gives it this striking appearance. raised on 4 shaped legs.

Minor restorations to veneer which has been done to a high standard, recently re-polished by hand in our workshop. Minor surface marks to top surface. ready for everyday use.
