Chest of Drawers Victorian Mahogany Secret Drawer C1880

Here we have a beautiful Victorian Mahogany veneered chest of drawers. As you can see this chest is in excellent condition with no splits to the sides top etc. The chest has wonderful colour from the flamy grain with a strong patina. As you would expect all the drawers run smoothly and there is an added bonus of top secret drawer which is accessed by taking out one of the top drawers. The top has a very nice thumb moulded edge. The secret drawer is crossbnded and moulded as are all the drawers with cockbead moulding. The original handles are nicely turned and sit well with the chest. The chest has a plinth base with a moulded top edge and original casters underneath for ease of moving. As you will see i have photographed the chest both inside and out the colour to the naked eye is best depicted by photos 7 and 8. As with all my items this chest is in strong retail condition and ready for new home.
