Description

A small two door / 2 drawer side table / cupboard dresser base from the Gansu Province of China, c1880 in Locust wood, which has a very similar grain to Chinese elm, but is more dense and heavier, but with a similarly beautiful and tactile grain. The centre ‘muntin’ between the doors is removable allowing access to the entire width of the cupboard space.

Width : 101 cms (39.5”)

Carcass width : 70cms (27.5”) - overhang of top at each side 15.5 cms (6”)

Height : 88 cms (34.5”)

Depth : 45 cms (17.5”)
