Antique Victorian Mahogany Pembroke Worktable

19th century
Description

An attractive Victorian mahogany work table of good proportion and practical form. The table is fitted with a drop leaf top with gently rounded corners, above a bank of one shallow and one deep drawer with a front of three drawers with six wooden knobs and diamond shaped escutcheons. There are a display of three dummy drawers to the other side. The table stands on turned and ring turned legs, terminating in brass castors. The mahogany shows good colour and grain throughout, and the compact proportions make it a useful side table or small occasional table.
