Description

A George III mahogany chest of drawers in the chippendale manner, consisting of four long drawers with rococo brass swan neck handles and escutcheons, and the chest also comes with a key that locks all four drawers. The carcass has canted sides with decorative carved fretwork designs, a moulded edge along the bottom of the chest with high bracket feet below. The surface of timber has a lovely faded patina, and would suit any design setting, there are a few losses to the fretwork commensurate with age, but overall the chest is in excellent condition.
