Fully Restored Classic Black Dial Omega Calibre 266 from 1954-55

1940 - 1960
Description

This is a very fine example of a gents classic wristwatch made by the world renowned premier Swiss maker Omega.

It has a calibre 266 manual winding 17 jewel movement the same movement that was used in the Battle of Britain pilots watches, highly reliable and robust. It is considered to be the best movement ever made by Omega.

The satin black explorer dial is in mint perfect condition having just been fully restored.

It measures 34mm in diameter excluding the winding crown.

A new glass has been fitted and the stainless steel case has been professionally polished so it is in superb condition.

The case is made of Denisteel a form of stainless steel developed by the Dennison company that was harder and more corrosion resistant than other stainless steels of the period.

It is fitted with a new high quality shark grain strap but we can fit almost any colour or style you prefer, we keep most things in stock.

As you would expect the watch is fully marked on the dial, movement and case.

Omega are one of the most exclusive watchmakers in the world and this watch certainly has that understated elegance that whispers class.

The watch has been fully serviced and is guaranteed to be a genuine Omega in all respects. It comes with a 12 month warranty.
