A Victorian rustic pine kitchen dresser in the traditional dog kennel form, dating to the late 19th century. Constructed in solid pine, the dresser comprises a base and associated open rack with three plate shelves fitted with rows of small hooks.

The base features a central arches recess below a single drawer with brass pull handle. This is flanked by panelled cupboard doors which open to reveal shelved and painted interiors. The piece is finished with moulded cornice and stands on short block feet. Overall a charming and practical piece.

CONDITION REPORT:

In good rustic, antique condition with surface wear, knocks and marks consistent with age and use. Some minor signs of historic woodworm, but this is long gone and has been treated as a precaution. Doors and drawers operate well. Structurally solid and sound. The dresser rack would benefit from being fixed to a wall for added stability.
