Gents 1950s Enicar Ultrasonic Automatic Wrist Watch

Description

Gents 1950s Enicar Ultrasonic automatic wrist watch.

The watch has a signed 17-jewel automatic movement which is working nicely.

The watch measures 36mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the lugs. The case back is chromium plated while the signed case back is stainless steel. The back of the watch also states that the watch is waterproof but, as with any vintage watch, it should be kept away from water and moisture.

The case has general surface marking.

The lens is in lovely condition.

The signed dial has its original hands, centre seconds hand and date display (an early form of quickset where the hands are moved repeatedly between 12 midnight and 8pm until the desired date is reached). There is light marking across the dial.

A new leather strap has been fitted.

The watch comes in a new presentation box.

We are an on-line only business and do not have facilities for callers. Our offices are open from Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.

With regards to appraisals / valuations, we receive a huge number of information requests each day and unfortunately do not have the manpower to deal with them all individually. Our advice would be to contact a local auctioneer for a full appraisal.
