KPM Berlin porcelain cup and saucer, c. 1880. The wrythen moulded cup, finely hand painted with a pheasants in a rural setting, and insects. Having a branch handle, with leaf terminals, heightened in gilt.
 
The saucer, painted with exotic birds, in a river, and insects.
 
Underglaze blue sceptre mark to both pieces.
 
Height of cup – 6.5 cm, 2 1/2”.
 
Diameter of saucer – 13.5 cm, 5 3/8”.
 
Condition – Excellent. No damage. No restoration.
