French Antique Warehouse has dated this piece to the 1800s.
Loose grey marble top with some tiny fossils visible.
3 drawers.
Fluted side columns are topped with decorated brass plates.
Coffered sides.
Decorative brass throughout, including beading on the drawer fronts.
In good condition showing wear consistent with age and use. There are some small and unobtrusive nibbles to the marble edges, particularly along the back and to the front right corner, with light scratching across the top surface. Some minor wear damage to the front edge of the support frame beneath the top drawer is only slightly visible as nibbling when the drawer is closed flush. Locks are present, but no key is available.
