Pair of Japanese bronze okimonos of rabbits, Meiji Period. One rabbit modelled recumbent, whilst its companion is seated with front legs crossed, and ears raised. Both with finely delineated hair, and gilt inlay to the eyes.

Width – 14.5 cm, 5 3/4”.
 
Depth – 8 cm, 3 1/8”.
 
Recumbent rabbit –
 
Height – 9 cm, 3 1/2”.
 
Width – 17.5 cm, 6 7/8”.
 
Depth – 8 cm, 3 1/8”.
