Gilt and Gesso has dated this piece to the 19th Century.

A superbly constructed, mahogany frame bench seat retains excellent structural integrity, it sits well and remains firm to sit on, the leather is in mostly good original condition, albeit some sculls and tears as featured in photos, all distress to the leather are easily repairable but sold AF, as found.

A magnificent country house hallway bench, or viewing gallery bench from a typical 19th century museum or art gallery, the bench is 85cm wide which allows up to 5-6 people comfortably on each side.
