Fowey River Antiques has dated this piece to the 1960s.

The solid 9ct gold case is 34mm in diameter excluding the original crown, a full size gents.
The case edges are sharp and crisp the watch looks like it was kept hidden away in a drawer and rarely worn.

The movement is the Omega 552, Omegas greatest automatic winding movement. It has been freshly serviced and is currently running at plus 5 seconds per day , not bad for a 60 year old watch.
The starburst art deco explorer dial is totally original it has had no restoration, the art deco numerals are solid gold with sharp facets that catch the light.

The hands are matching gold
The hallmarks and movement serial number both indicate that this watch was made in 1963
Its the most original unrestored example you will ever see.
