Victorian Mahogany Chest of Drawers

19th century
Description

A good quality mahogany chest of drawers dating from the mid to late 19th Century. It stands on turned bun feet with two short over three long drawers, each with turned wooden knobs. It is a particularly well made piece with a lovely patination and rich colour.

It is in good condition for its age and has been recently polished. There are some minor signs of age and use with a few light knocks and marks and a couple of old repairs here and there but nothing detrimental or untoward. The drawers open smoothly and are generally clean and tidy inside, retaining their original blue penny paper linings. The chest has been cleaned and is ready for use.
