Description

Gents Waltham wrist watch, 1928.

The watch has a 7 jewel hand-winding movement which is working nicely. The movement is fully signed and it has the serial number 26,875,546 which dates it back to 1928.

The watch measures 31mm wide excluding the winding crown, and 31mm high excluding the lugs. The case is gold plated and was made for Waltham by the Illinois Watch Case Company. The case is in good condition, just light rubbing and surface marks but nothing too detrimental at all.

The lens is in good condition.

The signed dial has blued steel feuille shaped hands, a red number 12 and outer minute track. There are two very faint short hairlines if viewed through a jeweller’s loupe but the dial is sound and stable.

A later leather strap has been fitted.

The watch comes in a new presentation box.
